God’s Eternity – Beyond Time
God’s infinity in relation to time is His eternity. “From everlasting to everlasting, You are God” (Ps. 90:2). He existed before time began (Gen. 1:1; John 1:1) and reigns over history from beginning to end. To Him, all time is present. He is never surprised, never rushed, and never bound by clocks or calendars. His eternal perspective assures believers that His plans cannot fail.
God’s Immensity – Beyond Space
God’s infinity in relation to space is His immensity. He transcends all created dimensions, for “heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You” (1 Kings 8:27). Yet His immensity does not distance Him. He is both beyond creation and intimately present within it, sustaining every atom by His power (Heb. 1:3). His greatness is immeasurable, and His presence fills the universe with glory.
God’s Omnipresence – Present Everywhere
God is fully present everywhere at once. David confessed, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?” (Ps. 139:7). Whether in heaven or Sheol, in the depths of the sea or the heights of the sky, God is there. Unlike finite creatures who occupy one place at a time, God is near to all, dwelling with His people while also reigning over the nations. His omnipresence comforts believers and warns the wicked: no one can escape His presence.
